PHOENIX – January 4, 2011 — When everyday activities like walking, jumping or climbing stairs become difficult for a dog, experts recommend a combination of solutions to manage the problem. Other ingredients include: glucosamine HCl, a major component of cartilage that may help maintain health and resiliency of joints and connective tissues; methylsulfonylmethane (MSM), a source of sulfur which helps support healthy muscles and joints; omega 3 fatty acids (DHA and EPA) that serve a critical role as structural and functional components of cell membranes and manage inflammatory mediators while providing nutrients for healthy cartilage; manganese, a co-factor in joint fluid systhesis; plus zinc and vitamin E to protect cell membranes from free radical oxidation.

Each Duralactin® Canine Joint Plus Soft Chew contains 500 mg of MicroLactin® dried milk protein, 250 mg of glucosamine HCl from a marine source, 200 mg of MSM, 25 mg of omega 3 fatty acids (EPA and DHA), 5 mg of manganese, 2 mg of zinc and 25 IU vitamin E.

Available in 120-count and 240-count bottles, Duralactin® Canine Joint Plus Soft Chew is given twice a day; the dose depends upon the weight of the dog. No loading dose is required.
